Monday is a bank holiday following Easter Sunday, commemorating Jesus’ resurrection.
Jesus Christ was a human being, one of those special ones who gets so far in life to achieve what we’re all here to achieve: self-realisation.
Jesus was speaking so much Truth, and people weren’t ready for it. So, he was crucified. What amazes me is that even in that moment in which he was being tortured by who he would call his own brothers and sisters, he was compassionate. He said: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”.
May we all be so strong in our unconditional love for all, that we can look past someone’s hatefulness – because, they don’t know what they’re doing. They don’t understand we’re all siblings within the Family of Life – they are in ignorance. And they need our patience, our compassion.
